Munchkat Species Information

Munchkats are a cute, fluffy, and loveable species. They are most often found in safe wild areas set aside for them to live in, although are sometimes kept as domesticated house pets.
Munchkats are a CLOSED species. You may only purchase one from me, auctions, or customs.

Basic Info

Each Munchkat is based on a certain sweet food. (I may add other junk foods later.) Their name comes from both that they have the stature of a munchkin cat and that they love to munch on their favorite foods.
Munchkats are sexless. They can have any gender. They do not reproduce normally; when they are born, they are automatically "assigned" a partner that they are supposed to find in their life time. It is easy for them to tell which Munchkat is their partner, and after being together for sometime they can, essentially, will a litter into existence. Litters ALWAYS have three kits.
Their tails are huge and poofy. They easily make up half of the Munchkat's size, however they do not make up half of the Munchkat's mass.
They have no visible inside of their ears.
They are very, very fluffy.
They are about the size of a small dog when full grown.
They mostly eat their favorite food.
Currently, only one theme may be used once. Taken themes can be seen at the bottom of this journal.
When they are born, they have a very gray furcoat. Over time, depending on what they eat, they will gradually develop color and markings based on their favorite food.
They can have virtually any accessories. Necklaces, hats, tail accessories, bows, ties, glasses, etc.

"Rule of Three"

Munchkats have a certain "rule of three".
Their fluff on them comes in threes.
Three large fluffs on their cheeks.
Three large fluffs on their head.
Litters always have three kits.
They have three toas on each leg.
Other themes happen in them with the rule of three.

In addition: very rare features are almost always auction-only. Every custom is granted at least 2 uncommon markings, and every custom from an auction is granted at least 1 uncommon marking and 1 rare marking.

How to Get One

I am pretty much always open for customs, so if you'd like one you can order. Otherwise, I will probably host auctions every 2-3 weeks for a custom Munchkat or potentially premade ones. I will probably not do MYO events unless they get really popular.

By purchasing the design, you agree that:
The first time you draw it, you will credit me for the design/species.
If someone asks you who designed it/made the species, you will not claim credit and will tell them that I made it.
You will NOT resell it without my permission. This is to ensure that people do not pawn off my designs to make a profit off of them.
If you know longer wish to keep the design and will not obey the above instructions, you will return it to me.
You may not change the theme or change the design beyond recognition.
However:
You may change parts of the design. (Removal of a certain part, color shifts, etc; HOWEVER you may not completely change large parts of the design without my permission.)
You may gift or trade them. (However please, of course, notify the person you are trading/gifting to that it is a closed species/tell them that they can't do x with it.)
You may send them back to me. I won't refund, sorry - chances are I won't have any points on me at the time.
You don't need to continually credit me for the design every time you draw it in the description/etc. It's encouraged, but not necessary. However, please don't claim credit for it.
